What is Mobile Transfer SDK?

Mobile Transfer SDK 2.6.3 is a dll control for software developers and software authors. With this control you can upload multimedia files from PC to portable devices via Bluetooth, Infrared or USB connection.

Mobile Transfer SDK 2.6.3 allows you to upload media files from your personal computer to your mobile devices: mobile phones, personal digital assistants, Sony PSPs and alike. The selection option allows you to choose between different mobile devices depending on means of their connection to your personal computer. Depending on the communication type (Bluetooth, USB, Infrared) used different file types might be available for upload to the same devices. Well, Mobile Transfer SDK 2.6.3 is easy to use, easy to integrate into your application, and fits all your requirements.

Note: if you could not find some mobile device model in the list, you can consult this device manual or manufacturer web site to find out whether it supports some media formats and has got Bluetooth or Infrared communication capabilities.

Attention - Possible Ways to Solve the Connection Problem:

USB connection types:

  1. make sure that the mobile device is on;
  2. check the device connection to the personal computer (make sure that the cable is connected and the USB port works properly), connect the device to the proper USB port of your personal computer if necessary;
  3. make sure that you connect the mobile device directly to the computer USB port, please do not use any USB hubs, USB extension cables, display or keyboard USB ports;
  4. check if the Microsoft ActiveSync is installed on your computer if necessary;
  5. check the Windows Media Player version installed on your system if necessary, make sure that you have WMP version 10 or higher (11/12) installed;
  6. check the iTunes version installed on your computer if necessary, make sure that you have the proper iTunes version for your mobile device - 7, 8 or later;
  7. connect only one device (iPhone or iPod touch) to your personal computer in case you have several.

Bluetooth connection type:

  1. make sure that the is on;
  2. make sure that the personal computer Bluetooth adapter is on;
  3. make sure that the Bluetooth service of the mobile device is on, if not please enable it;
  4. check the Bluetooth protocol stack used by your computer Bluetooth adapter, Mobile Transfer SDK supports Microsoft (Windows XP SP2/3, Windows Vista) and Toshiba (Windows XP SP2/3) Bluetooth protocol stacks only; BlueSoleil and Widcomm (Broadcom) Bluetooth protocol stacks are not supported.

IrDA (Infrared) connection type:

  1. make sure that the mobile device is on;
  2. make sure that the personal computer Infrared adapter is on;
  3. make sure that the Infrared port of the mobile device is on;
  4. check the personal computer Infrared adapter and mobile device Infrared port connectivity, make sure that the adapter and the port are directed to each other and nothing blocks the connection; place the computer Infrared adapter and the mobile device Infrared port as close to each other as possible.
